The new MacBook Pros are coming soon and are rumoured to have  the

new Sandy Bridge processor form Intel. Now these processors had to be halted as there was a problem in the SATA2 chip in the Sandy Bridge chipset. So do you think Apple will risk it? They don’t like dodgy, cheap parts(especially not cheap!). However it is likely that if the new MacBook Pros had a Sandy Bridge processor then it will have the SATA3 chip so they should be fine. It is unlikely that they will have them because if the new MacBook Pros are to be out March 1st then they will have to hurry up the machines because they have only just restarted production.
